Insect teaching aid deluxe (model, 16 mounts)

Teaching aids like these encased insect specimens are used by teacher candidates and local teachers when teaching science classes to pre-kindergarten through 12^th grade. The College of Education, Criminal Justice, and Human Services Library has a unique teaching collection, called “Mixed Materials”, containing models, puppets, kits, card sets, games, manipulatives, and other non-print formats that assist in fully engaging students in the learning process. The Mixed Materials collection is an essential part of the collection as it enhances learning with the use of multiple senses.
