Bernhard Johannes Blume was a German art photographer who collaborated predominately with his wife Anna Blume. He and Anna created sequences of large black and white photographs of staged scenes posing as typical lower-class-Germans who engage in everyday life but with humorous narratives. This work demonstrates the many facets of the Blume’s multidisciplinary art practice. Included in Natrülich, is a pristine blue-green cross prop seen used by Blume and Beuys in nine sequential black and white cards documenting their conversation. Additionally, there is an advertisement like poster of Beuy’s and Blume’s names with the Natürlich title in the middle in the same blue-green color.
