Regular library hours will resume Friday, Nov. 12.

New Hours for the Archives and Rare Books Library beginning Aug. 9

Beginning Monday, August 9, 2021 the Archives and Rare Books (ARB) Library, located on the 8th floor of Blegen Library, will institute new hours:

Monday: Closed to the public
Tuesday-Friday: 9am-5pm, available by appointment
Saturday & Sunday: Closed

Mostudent researching in the archives and rare books librarynday public closures will allow the ARB staff additional time to process collections and prepare materials for upcoming research appointments.

UC Libraries to Close at 2pm on Monday, Feb. 15

Due to inclement weather, the University of Cincinnati will close from 2 p.m. until midnight on Monday, Feb. 15, 2021. This includes library locations. The Albino Gorno Memorial (CCM) Library will not open as scheduled at 1 p.m., but will remain closed.

UC Libraries remains available online to provide users with access to library resources and services.

UC Libraries will be closed Monday, Jan. 18 for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day . The libraries will resume normal hours on Tuesday, Jan. 19.

Spring Semester Hours and Services for UCBA Library

The UCBA Library space will be closed until in person classes begin on Monday, January 25, 2021; however, the following services and support will still be available Monday-Friday, 10am-3pm. 

  • Virtual SupportLive Chat and email for general library questions/requests and research support. 
  • Click and Collect: Books and media on hold will be available for pick-up on a cart outside the library entrance. 
  • Equipment Pick-Ups and Returns By Appointment: Contactless pick-ups and returns are available to UCBA students for laptops and calculators. Students should reach out to us via email to set-up an appointment. 

Beginning Monday, January 25th the library space will reopen from Monday-Friday, 10am-3pm. The remote services and support above will continue to be available in addition to in person services and support (e.g. equipment returns/pick-ups, Click and Collect) as well as study room reservations.
