    UC Professors’ Unique Collection Finds Home in the Libraries

It was on this same trip, more than 40 years ago, that he also became interested in Native American culture. This quickly developed into a passion for Native American children’s literature that his wife and fellow educator Laura grew to share.     Student workers play a vital part in the daily operation of UC Libraries. From assisting users with checking out materials to trouble shooting technology problems to helping new students locate the stacks, student workers help the libraries to achieve our mission to “empower discovery, stimulate learning and inspire the creation of knowledge by connecting students, faculty, researchers and scholars to dynamic data, information and resources.” Annually, we recognize those student workers who perform their job at the highest level with the University of Cincinnati Library Student Award for Quality Service.     Finding the Talent: Q&A with Hong Cheng and Bob Freeman

    Over the past several years the University of Cincinnati, with the support of the Office of the Provost, has made a concerted effort to diversify their faculty positions and hiring practices.
