Experiments and Considerations Touching Colours

What began as sparsely written letters amongst friends, Experiments and Considerations Touching Colors has come to be known as the start of an experimental history of color. Written by the famous English physicist and chemist Robert Boyle, this book mostly describes Boyle’s experiments and their results. For example, important experiments in which colors are used distinguish acids from bases are first described in this work. Boyle is widely acknowledged as the first modern chemist and is popularly known for Boyle’s Law.
