Bernard Shaw"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>George Bernard Shaw was an Irish playwright and a co-founder of the London School of Economics.\u00a0 He is the only person to have been awarded both a Nobel Prize in Literature and an Oscar, for his contributions to literature and for his work on the film Pygmalion (adaptation of this play of the same name).\u00a0 He declined the monetary award for the Nobel Prize, requesting instead that it be used to finance translation of fellow playwright August Strindberg\u2019s works from Swedish to English.<\/p>\n<p><em>Notable works in ARB\u2019s
