Come Play at the STRC and Adaptive Technologies Open House

BearcatinSTRC 011Stop by the 4th floor of Langsam Library on Wednesday, January 30, from 1pm – 3pm, and join UC Libraries and the Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs & Provost at an Open House for the Student Technology Resources Center (STRC) and Adaptive Technologies Office. The event will highlight the recent renovation to the space and the services and technologies available in both areas.

At the same time, we will hold a reception with remarks from Interim Provost Lawrence Johnson about Dean and University Librarian Xuemao Wang’s first semester with UC Libraries.

The STRC is a student-centered service area designed to provide instructional technology resources and services to assist students who require specific software or equipment to complete course assignments. The Adaptive Technologies Office offers a wide array of enhanced services for patrons with disabilities, such as adaptive equipment and book retrieval.

The Open House and Reception will include demos and a show-and-tell about the services and resources available in both the STRC and Adaptive Technologies Office. Refreshments and party favors will also be available. The event is free and open to all, so bring a friend.
