The UCBA Library Faculty, Staff and family booked it in the first UCBA 5K Dash for Scholarships held on Saturday, October 12, 2013. The group hit the pavement decked out in retro 70s, 80s, and 90s workout/athletic gear and strollers turned bookcart and bookmobile. Technical Services Manager, Rachel Lewis won 1st place for female walkers in her age group and James Noyes aka The Running Elvis, husband of Library Director Heather Maloney, was awarded the prize for best costume.
