\"Books<\/a>For the 10th year, the University of Cincinnati Libraries will celebrate the International Edible Books Festival with an event scheduled for Thursday, April 5, 2012, from 12:30-1:30pm in the 5th floor lobby of Langsam Library<\/strong>. The Libraries are seeking people interested in creating an edible book for the viewing and consuming enjoyment of those in attendance at the event.<\/p>\n

\"edible<\/a>There are few restrictions for those interested in creating an edible book – namely that the creation be edible and have something to do with a book. Past entries have included such edible titles as Animal Farm, A Raisin in the Sun, In Cold Blood,<\/em> and If You Give a Mouse a Cookie <\/em>among other literary greats.<\/p>\n

As in previous years, entries will be judged according to such categories as “Most Edible,” “Most Hilarious,” “Most Creative,” “Most Checked Out,” and “Most Literary.” An award for the “Best Student Entry” will be awarded with the winner receiving a $25 gift card.<\/p>\n
