It provides information on citation analysis tools available at the HSL.<\/p>\n<p>The guide includes information and instructions on how to find the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Citation counts for your research publications<\/li>\n<li>Citation counts from patents<\/li>\n<li>To see who\u2019s citing you<\/li>\n<li>The ranking or impact\u00a0factor of a specific journal<\/li>\n<li>To learn more about the H-index and other new indexes for calculating impact<\/li>\n<li>Explanations\u00a0of citation research concepts and terminology<\/li>\n<li>More information on the rationale behind citation research<\/li>\n<li>Information on altmetrics<\/li>\n<li>Citation research tutorials for various databases<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Instructions are provided for Scopus, Web of Science, and Google Scholar.
