{"id":23276,"date":"2013-10-04T16:04:26","date_gmt":"2013-10-04T20:04:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.libraries.uc.edu\/liblog\/?p=23276"},"modified":"2013-10-04T16:05:12","modified_gmt":"2013-10-04T20:05:12","slug":"national-womens-studies-associal-meeting-nov-7-10","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/libapps.libraries.uc.edu\/liblog\/2013\/10\/national-womens-studies-associal-meeting-nov-7-10\/","title":{"rendered":"National Womens Studies Associal Meeting, Nov. 7-10"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><\/strong>NWSA: National Women\u2019s Studies Association is holding its annual meeting in the Duke Energy Convention Center, November 7-10.\u00a0 Established in 1977 to promote and support research, teaching, and learning about women and gender, NWSA\u2019s annual conference is the only meeting of its kind within the United States that exclusively features feminist scholarship.\u00a0\u00a0<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>\u201cNegotiating Points of Encounter\u201d is the theme of this year\u2019s conference.\u00a0 Noted poet, playwright, and Thomas E.
