{"id":23911,"date":"2014-02-03T09:16:08","date_gmt":"2014-02-03T13:16:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.libraries.uc.edu\/liblog\/?p=23911"},"modified":"2014-02-03T09:16:08","modified_gmt":"2014-02-03T13:16:08","slug":"new-platform-for-accessmedicine-accesspharmacy-and-other-access-medical-resources","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/libapps.libraries.uc.edu\/liblog\/2014\/02\/new-platform-for-accessmedicine-accesspharmacy-and-other-access-medical-resources\/","title":{"rendered":"New Platform for AccessMedicine, AccessPharmacy, and other Access Medical Resources"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Recently <a href=\"http:\/\/proxy.libraries.uc.edu\/login?url=http:\/\/accessanesthesiology.mhmedical.com\" target=\"_blank\">AccessAnesthesiology<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/proxy.libraries.uc.edu\/login?url=http:\/\/accessmedicine.mhmedical.com\" target=\"_blank\">AccessMedicine<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/proxy.libraries.uc.edu\/login?url=http:\/\/accesspediatrics.mhmedical.com\" target=\"_blank\">AccessPediatrics<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/proxy.libraries.uc.edu\/login?url=http:\/\/accesspharmacy.mhmedical.com\" target=\"_blank\">AccessPharmacy<\/a>, and <a href=\"http:\/\/proxy.libraries.uc.edu\/login?url=http:\/\/accesssurgery.mhmedical.com\" target=\"_blank\">AccessSurgery<\/a> moved to a new platform.\u00a0 The content is the same including more than 180 titles including <i>Harrison\u2019s Online<\/i>, <i>CMDT, Schwartz\u2019s Principles of Surgery, Tintinalli\u2019s Emergency Medicine, Pharmacotherapy: A Pathophysiologic Approach<\/i>, and more.<\/p>\n<p>New features come with the new platform:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The ability to move from one Access resource to another easily; just click on the <em>Sites<\/em> menu and select another resource<\/li>\n<li>Responsive design for mobile users \u2013 the browser automatically adjusts depending on the device<\/li>\n<li>Create a personal account and set up alerts, create a custom curriculum, or save images and figures and move easily them into PowerPoint.<\/li>\n<li>Your personal account also enables you to log in remotely to any of the Access resources to which the Health Sciences Library (HSL) subscribes.
