Joseph Bates is the author of Tomorrowland: Stories<\/i> and The Nighttime Novelist<\/i>. His fiction and nonfiction have appeared in such journals as New Ohio Review<\/i>, Identity Theory<\/i>, South Carolina Review<\/i>, The Cincinnati Review<\/i>, and Shenandoah<\/i>. He teaches in the creative writing program at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.<\/p>\n
David James Poissant\u2019s first story collection, The Heaven of Animals<\/i>, will be published by Simon & Schuster in March 2014. His stories have appeared in The Atlantic<\/i>, Playboy<\/i>, One Story<\/i>, The Southern Review<\/i>, Ploughshares<\/i>, New Stories from the South<\/i>, and Best New American Voices<\/i>. <\/i>He teaches in the MFA program at the University of Central Florida and is at work on a novel, Class, Order Family<\/i>, also forthcoming from Simon & Schuster.<\/p>\n
