As we celebrate Information Literacy Awareness Month, we challenge you to demonstrate your skills as an image detective.
\nThere are a\"sherlock\"<\/a> lot of amazing picture posted on the web, but many of them are real and others are not \u2013 there are so many ways to alter images or pass them for what they are not by adding a misleading caption. Let\u2019s see how good you are at spotting fakery!<\/p>\n

The first two images are real. The Sony Animalia Speakers<\/em> is a fake. It was published in a spoof press release on 31 March 2013 and intended for April Fool’s Day.<\/p>\n
