Visit the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.libraries.uc.edu\/services\/student-technology-resources-center.html\">Student Technology Resources Center<\/a> (STRC) and make a video postcard greeting. Listen to music and play games as you welcome in the year of the goat (or sheep).<\/p>\n<p>Activities will include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Welcome from Xuemao Wang, Dean and University Librarian<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;Moonloore and the Mountains,&#8221; Kevin Grace, University Archivist and Head of the Archives and Rare Books Library<\/li>\n<li>Music: Tsun-Hui Hung will play the Erhu (Chinese Violin)<\/li>\n<li>Lion Dance performed by Students from the Cincinnati Chinese School at CCCLA<\/li>\n<li>Haiku Reading<\/li>\n<li>Table Tennis and other fun games<\/li>\n<li>STRC Video Post Card<\/li>\n<li>Paper-Cutting Display<\/li>\n<li>Calligraphy and Chinese Symbol Cutting<\/li>\n<li>Origami<\/li>\n<li>and, of course, refreshments.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The event is free and open to all.<\/p>\n<p>The Lunar New Year celebration in Langsam Library is part of a Diversity Grant the Libraries received to promote and celebrate diversity throughout the university. The event is supported by the Chinese Mutual-Aid Association and the <span id=\"snippet_4\" class=\"goog-trans-section\">Japanese &amp; American Student Society and <\/span>sponsored in part by Ethnic Programs and Services.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Friday, February 13, 3-5pm, Langsam Library.
