According to\u00a0the American Chemical Society (ACS), &#8220;<span class=\"s1\">NCW encourages chemists and chemistry enthusiasts to build awareness of chemistry at the local level. Local Sections, businesses, schools, and individuals are invited to organize or participate in events in their communities with a common goal: to promote the value of chemistry in everyday life.&#8221;\u00a0<\/span>Visit the ACS website at\u00a0<span class=\"s2\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.acs.org\/\">http:\/\/www.acs.org<\/a>\u00a0to learn more.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><em>Erin Barger is a Student Assistant for the UCBA Library and also serves as the Vice President of the UCBA Chemistry Club. The UCBA Chemistry Club will be helping with a demo at Deer Park Library on Friday, October 23rd from 4:00 pm &#8211; 6:00 pm.
