Friday, September 16 from 1:30pm-2:30pm <\/strong><\/p>\n

Doctoral student Mar G\u00e1mez Garc\u00eda will present her recently published play\u00a0La fauna del poder.<\/em><\/p>\n

Friday, October 21 from 1:30pm-2:30pm <\/strong><\/p>\n

Professor Armando Romero will present his most recent book of poems,\u00a0El color del Egeo\u00a0<\/em>and the bilingual edition of\u00a0El \u00e1rbol digital.<\/em><\/p>\n

Sponsored by the University of Cincinnati Libraries and the Department of Romance Languages and Literatures in the McMicken College of Arts and Sciences, the readings will be held in the Digital Commons space located in the back of the 4th<\/sup> floor of the Langsam Library. The readings are open to the entire UC community. Refreshments will be served.<\/p>\n

While in Langsam for the readings, check out the display highlighting Hispanic books. Featured in the display are student and staff picks, UC faculty publications and the work of Sandra Cisneros, author of The House on Mango Street<\/em> among other books. Cisneros will speak at the university September 28. La estudiante de doctorado Mar G\u00e1mez Garc\u00eda presentar\u00e1 su obra de teatro\u00a0La fauna del poder<\/em>, que se acaba de publicar recientemente.<\/em>
\n<\/strong><\/p>\n

Viernes 21 de octubre de 1:30 a 2:30 de la tarde <\/strong><\/p>\n

El profesor Armando Romero presentar\u00e1 su libro de poemas m\u00e1s reciente,\u00a0El color del Egeo<\/em>, y la edici\u00f3n biling\u00fce de\u00a0El \u00e1rbol digital.<\/em><\/p>\n

Ambos eventos han sido posibles gracias a la colaboraci\u00f3n de las Bibliotecas de la Universidad de Cincinnati \u2014University of Cincinnati Libraries\u2014\u00a0 y del Departamento de Lenguas y Literaturas Romances de la Universidad de Cincinnati, del McMicken College of Arts and Sciences. Las lecturas tendr\u00e1n lugar en el espacio Digital Commons, situado al fondo del 4o<\/sup> piso de la Biblioteca Langsam. Las lecturas estar\u00e1n abiertas a toda la comunidad de UC, y se servir\u00e1n algunos refrescos.<\/p>\n
