In November, the University of Cincinnati Health Sciences Library<\/strong> is partnering with The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI)<\/strong> to bring a series of workshops for researchers on a number of database housed within the NCBI domain.\u00a0 All are welcome to attend.<\/p>\n

The workshops will be held November 8th<\/sup>-10th<\/sup> 2016 in Kresge Auditorium in the College of Medicine.<\/strong> Each workshop will be 3\u00a0 hours long and will be facilitated by NCBI experts and trainers. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Workshop topics include:<\/p>\n

  1. Practical Guide to NCBI Blast<\/li>\n
  2. Accessing Genomes, Assemblies and Annotation Products<\/li>\n
  3. Accessing NCBI Human Variation and Medical Genetics Resources<\/li>\n
  4. Exploring Gene Expression Information at the NCBI<\/li>\n
  5. Principles of PubChem<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Each workshop is free and open to the public, so please feel free to share this information with your friends and colleagues.
