{"id":35035,"date":"2018-03-15T12:50:45","date_gmt":"2018-03-15T16:50:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/libapps.libraries.uc.edu\/liblog\/?p=35035"},"modified":"2018-03-15T12:50:45","modified_gmt":"2018-03-15T16:50:45","slug":"introducing-benchsci","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/libapps.libraries.uc.edu\/liblog\/2018\/03\/introducing-benchsci\/","title":{"rendered":"Introducing BenchSci"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The University of Cincinnati Libraries is pleased to present BenchSci to the UC research community.<\/p>\n<p>Registration is free to all scientists with a <a href=\"http:\/\/uc.edu\">uc.edu<\/a>\u00a0or affiliated institutional emails at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.benchsci.com\">https:\/\/www.benchsci.com<\/a><\/p>\n<p>BenchSci is a online platform designed to help scientists find antibody data in publications.\u00a0 Their proprietary machine-learning algorithm was trained by PhD-level scientists to identify and understand the usage of commercial antibodies in the research literature.<\/p>\n<p>When searching for a specific protein target, BenchSci curates published data in the form of figures to simplify the literature search process.
