{"id":38994,"date":"2019-11-25T16:20:00","date_gmt":"2019-11-25T20:20:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/libapps.libraries.uc.edu\/liblog\/?p=38994"},"modified":"2019-11-25T16:20:00","modified_gmt":"2019-11-25T20:20:00","slug":"new-pubmed-now-available","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/libapps.libraries.uc.edu\/liblog\/2019\/11\/new-pubmed-now-available\/","title":{"rendered":"New PubMed Now Available"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A new version of PubMed is now available by clicking on \u201cClick here to try the New PubMed!\u201d in the current version of <a href=\"http:\/\/proxy.libraries.uc.edu\/login?url=http:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/sites\/entrez?otool=ohuncilib\">PubMed<\/a>.\u00a0 The New PubMed will become the default in spring 2020 and will eventually replace the legacy version.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Be aware that once you click on the link to New PubMed it will become your default on that device or browser with a link to return to Legacy PubMed.\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The UC Libraries\u2019 PubMed links that connect UC full text with PubMed references is not changing.\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The New PubMed design has a more consistent look and feel throughout and a responsive layout compatible with any screen size.\u00a0 It includes the same features (though some are in different locations) and more.<\/p>\n<p><strong>A few of the New PubMed features include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The ability to cite a reference in AMA, MLA, APA, or NLM format style and then copy or download that citation.<\/li>\n<li>The reference abstract and full record view may include the article references, similar articles, and the PubMed Central articles that have cited that article<\/li>\n<li>The ability to filter to references with \u2018Associated Data\u2019.
