In 1870, OMI partnered with the Board of Trade and Chamber of Commerce to present the first &#8220;Grand Industrial Exposition.&#8221; These showcases attracted exhibitors nationwide representing industrial developments and artistic achievements of the day.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Commemorative tokens from the expositions were adorned with visual reminders of the events.
