Do you have\u00a0summer\u00a0plans\u00a0yet?\u00a0\u00a0We would\u00a0love\u00a0for\u00a0you to\u00a0join us in the library\u00a0for\u00a0research fun and skills.\u00a0\u00a0The\u00a02026 Undergraduate Research Summer Learning Community\u00a0is\u00a0a great way\u00a0to learn about research,\u00a0acquire\u00a0research\u00a0skills\u00a0and meet other undergraduates\u00a0either\u00a0interested in or currently doing research.\u00a0\u00a0This year the community will run from June 3 to July 22 and meet every Wednesday morning from 9:30\u00a0am\u00a0to 11\u00a0am.\u00a0\u00a0The first session will include a celebratory meal and networking to kick off the\u00a08 weeks\u00a0of skills,\u00a0friends\u00a0and fun.\u00a0\u00a0Each session will be\u00a0facilitated\u00a0by a mentor engaged in undergraduate\u00a0research\u00a0support and will be\u00a0offered as both\u00a0in-person and\u00a0virtually via\u00a0zoom.\u00a0\u00a0In-person sessions will also have donuts and coffee.\u00a0The final session will be in-person and feature an\u00a0Opportunities\u00a0Fair and more\u00a0networking time.\u00a0Attendees of at least 5 sessions will get a digital certificate of attendance which will look great on your LinkedIN profile. The URSLC is sponsored by UC Libraries and is offered in collaboration with the TRIO McNair Scholars, University Honors Discover program, and the CEAS Office of Professional Development & Community Impact.  The program is free and open to any undergraduate (UC and beyond) interested in research. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
