The majority of the collection includes publicity files related to the College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning such as newspaper and magazine articles, press releases, projects, events, correspondence, and notes. The office also collected non-University of Cincinnati publications and periodicals when the University or its students were mentioned.\u00a0

Periodicals such as\u00a0Good News from the University of Cincinnati\u00a0<\/em>highlight\u00a0material created and circulated by the office.\u00a0\u00a0

Significant events at the University such as the introduction of Affirmative Action, NCAA tournaments, construction of new buildings, students working towards health innovations and urban development, fashion shows, and book publications\u00a0on African American architects, historical events,\u00a0art, and fashion\u00a0from faculty and staff were advertised by the office and included media inquiries.\u00a0

Members of the Office of Public Relations held significant positions across campus committees and task forces such as the Business Practices Task Force and Marketing, Recruitment, and Retention Task Force. These meeting minutes, notes, and reports were collected by the staff and make up one of the\u00a0collection\u2019s record\u00a0series.
