(Non-subscribers are limited to 20 articles per month).<\/p>\n<p>However, there is good news for those of us who love to start the day with browsing <em>The New York Times<\/em> online or checking on the news over lunch break.\u00a0 The University of Cincinnati Libraries are continuing to provide access to <em>The New York Times<\/em> online content through the <a href=\"http:\/\/proxy.libraries.uc.edu\/login?url=http:\/\/proquest.umi.com\/pqdweb?RQT=318&amp;pmid=7818\">ProQuest database<\/a>.\u00a0 Select content from 1980 to present is also available through <a href=\"http:\/\/proxy.libraries.uc.edu\/login?url=http:\/\/global.factiva.com\/en\/sess\/login.asp?xsid=S003WvfYsbk1dmnNdmnMDEsN9UnNpIs5DByMU38ODJ9RcyqUUFBQUFBQUFBQUFBQUFBQUFBQUFBQUFBQUFBQUFBQUFBQUEA\/\">Factiva<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/proxy.libraries.uc.edu\/login?url=http:\/\/www.lexisnexis.com\/us\/lnacademic\">Lexis-Nexis Academic<\/a>.\u00a0 Historical content, from January 1923 to five years ago, is available online via <a href=\"http:\/\/proxy.libraries.uc.edu\/login?url=http:\/\/proquest.umi.com\/login?COPT=U0ZEPTEmSU5UPTAmVkVSPTImREJTPTFBQ0Q%40&amp;clientId=5468\">ProQuest Historical Newspapers<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As many of us have already found out, The New York Times started charging frequent users for online access starting March 28th, 2011.
