In addition to the traveling exhibition, website, and exhibition catalog, the University of Cincinnati Libraries created In The Public Interest: An Exhibition Archive of Ladislas Segoe, a free & globally accessible digital collection that, unlike the website and exhibition catalog, captures and describes each item featured in the exhibit.

We created this diverse suite of resources so that you, our audience, could really get to know Segoe, a cultured “Renaissance man” who was knowledgeable, educated, and proficient in a wide range of languages and fields.

While all of the objects in the traveling exhibition can be viewed via  the digital collection, what’s represented is just a fraction of Segoe’s papers, which are housed at both the Archives and Rare Books Library at the University of Cincinnati and in the Cornell University Archives.
