With the launch of the University of Cincinnati Libraries Strategic Plan, 2024-2027<\/a>, we are increasing our impact by focusing on four strategic directions: Enrich Our Collections, Expand Our Impact, Strengthen Our Organization and Support Our Students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Enrich Our Collections<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Enrich and curate library collections that enable intellectual endeavors and inspire new discoveries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Goals<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Expand the visibility of diverse perspectives and voices through inclusive collection development practices and engagement with representative communities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Provide enhanced visibility and discoverability of library collections using a suite of software tools and collections-centered programming.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Establish a coordinated digital initiatives strategy that elevates discovery and access of unique and special collections.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Optimize the storage of physical materials as responsible stewards of our collections, while meeting the needs and expectations of users.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Strengthen collection development practices and strategies for sustainability and streamlined operations.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>

    3. Connect students, researchers and faculty with library services, collections and expertise through increased engagement and focused research.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>
