{"id":1384,"date":"2016-12-09T19:36:05","date_gmt":"2016-12-09T19:36:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/libapps.libraries.uc.edu\/thepreservationlab\/?p=1384"},"modified":"2016-12-09T19:36:05","modified_gmt":"2016-12-09T19:36:05","slug":"fun-with-photodoc","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/libapps.libraries.uc.edu\/thepreservationlab\/2016\/12\/fun-with-photodoc","title":{"rendered":"Fun with PhotoDoc &#8211; Edition 1"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Since I am the conservation technician who carries out most of the photographic documentation in the lab I think that pretty much all PhotoDoc is fun. \u00a0With all the different tools in the toolbox it really doesn&#8217;t get much better than when you get to bust out the ultraviolet radiation to reveal something that is otherwise not so obvious under normal illumination (like a stain, handwriting, etc.). \u00a0And then when you can transform those normal and UV before photos into a gif&#8230;well, that just makes for a fun Friday, if you ask me!<br \/>\n<div id=\"attachment_1385\" style=\"width: 1083px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"https:\/\/libapps.libraries.uc.edu\/thepreservationlab\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/ClassPhoto_UV_gif.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1385\" class=\"wp-image-1385 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/libapps.libraries.uc.edu\/thepreservationlab\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/ClassPhoto_UV_gif.gif\" alt=\"classphoto_uv_gif\" width=\"1073\" height=\"825\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-1385\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">This photograph is part of the Henry R. Winkler Center for the History of the Health Professions collection and arrived in the lab with the original glass broken and partially attached to the photo.
