UC Libraries Digital Exhibits

UC Libraries coordinates digitization, digital collection building, and digtal repository development at the University of Cincinnati.  The mission of the UC Libraries' digital collections initiative is to create and provide access to digital materials in support of the Libraries mission to provide excellent research collections and expedite access to knowledge. These efforts further the University of Cincinnati's comprehensive mission of teaching, learning, research and community service

Cooperative Engineer

The Cooperative Engineer was published quarterly from 1921 to 1975 by the students and alumni of the College of Engineering, University of Cincinnati. It offers primary material on the college, the campus, and the City of Cincinnati; chronicles the advancement of engineering and industrial processes in the 20th century; and gives insight into student life and social customs of the time.

Images of Progress: Cincinnati Industrial Exposition Posters

This exhibit showcases the promotional posters for Industrial Expositions, sponsored by the Ohio Mechanics Institute and Cincinnati's Chamber of Commerce and Board of Trade. The Cincinnati Industrial Expositions were held between 1870 and 1888 to promote arts and manufactures as well as the economic development of the city.

This exhibit brings together primary source materials and analysis on Joseph Baermann Strauss, an 1892 graduate of the University of Cincinnati, and the chief engineer of the Golden Gate Bridge
