Future Projection

Several hundred years from now, perhaps even a thousand, a time will come when all the remaining farmland will be owned and operated by Victory Cities and possibly Victory Cities' competitors. The population of the world may have reached a trillion. By then, the plans for Victory Cities will have changed radically.

Tremendous advances in heating, venting, air conditioning, air purifying, and humidity control will make interior rooms extremely pleasant, healthful and comfortable. In addition, it might be possible then to reconstitute the chemical or gaseous composition of air inside the building to correspond closely to the type of pure, fresh, unpolluted air that existed in the US before the settlers came here from Europe. The park area surrounding the city will have been converted mostly into vegetable gardens, orchards and chicken farms, etc. The huge roof of the building will contain a combination of gardens, park, sports and recreation areas, heliport and other facilities. Private auto transportation will have disappeared, and all transportation will be efficient, high-speed pollution-free public forms. Some form of electric train will carry freight and will carry passengers on short hauls. Planes will carry passengers on long hauls.
