College life is often thought to exist in a bubble that shields students from real world cares and concerns as they pursue their studies and prepare for life on the outside. But the United States military has been one external element that has removed that bubble and given students an early introduction to the world outside, in some ways gradually, and in others startlingly.
The University of Cincinnati has a long history of cooperation with the U.S. military. This exhibit examines how the military has contributed to student life, as well as how the University and its students have played an important role in the defense of our country.
