Welcome, Xuemao WangUC Libraries Welcomes Our New Dean and University Librarian Xuemao Wang.

With a 30-year career spanning the public, library consortium, and academic library worlds, Xuemao comes to UC from Emory University where he was the associate vice provost of University Libraries since 2009.

Interim President Santa J. Ono said upon Xuemao’s appointment, “I am delighted that Xuemao Wang will be joining us as a new member of the University of Cincinnati community. He brings a combination of skills and professional experiences that would be difficult to match. I was fortunate enough to work with him previously when I served as senior vice provost for undergraduate education and academic affairs at Emory University. I know him to be a tireless champion in the service of undergraduate, graduate, and professional programs via excellent research collections and innovative instructional support.”
