New to our homepage at top center is the general UC Libraries search box that features Summon, a powerful new Google like search tool used to scan the UC Library catalog, article databases and more. This area also includes “Additional Resources” for finding specific article databases (A-Z List of Databases), learning about special collections, and information about citing your sources. Custom tabs provide searching access for books, journals and online reference.
Beneath the general UC Libraries search box are four quadrants focusing on Education research, Curriculum Resources Pre K-12, Criminal Justice, and Human Services. Each quadrant provides custom web pages that lead to specialized subject research guides and finding tools for the books, articles and other resources relevant for research in these very special programs. There is a direct link to the Information Technology research guide as well.
Our BLOG has shifted to the lower left hand corner of the screen. And our drop down menus for key research databases remain on the right side of the screen.
Don’t forget to check out the remaining two areas below the center four quadrants: CECH Library and Library Services. These two sections provide links to such resources as the New Education Resources web page (a monthly list of new education resources acquired by the CECH Library and Langsam Library), the Distance Learning web page, NASA ERC page, Poster Printing page, and general background information on the CECH Library services and collections!
