Explore the Albino Gorno Memorial Music (CCM) Library in its new location on the 6th floor of Blegen Library.
Accessible via the grand staircase in Blegen Library, the renovated CCM Library includes a computer and listening lab, group study and microfilm rooms, areas for study and reading, and space for the library’s collections of books, periodicals, and scores.
The centerpiece of the new CCM Library is the handsome Reading Room with tall windows, historic chandeliers, and wooden bookcases.
The move from its previous location on the fourth floor of Blegen Library to the sixth floor allows the CCM Library to operate in contiguous space rather than in two separate wings as it did previously.
The CCM Library Collection currently comprises some 40,400 print volumes (books and serials), 72,000 scores, 55,000 sound recordings, 2500 media materials (videos, DVDs, CD-ROMs), and 6,000 microforms or roughly 176,00 total volumes.
Visit the CCM Library Web site for more about the library.
