The UCBA Library’s display for the month of March features a selection of books and journal articles written by UCBA faculty.  It includes works of poetry, the history of UCBA, technology’s impact on teaching and learning, and how Glee influenced pop culture and social issues.  The display can be found at the entrance of the library and on the reference shelf near the print station.  The displays will be available through March 31st.

UCBA Library Display Celebrates National African American Read-In and Black History Month

Black History Month and the National African American Read-In book display.

Stop by the UCBA Library to browse and borrow books in honor of Black History Month and the National African American Read-In (NAARI). Titles that include a yellow NAARI bookmark are written by African Americans and can be read for the NAARI event scheduled for Tuesday, February 28 at 12:00 pm in the Muntz 119 Lobby.

Librarians Bookin’ It at the UCBA Dash

UCBA librarians Lauren Wahman, Michelle McKinney and Heather Maloney (accompanied by her family) showed up bright and early to represent the library at the 4th Annual UCBA Blue Ash Dash 5K for Scholarships. The rest of the library staff opted for the ‘sleep in’ option bringing the department to 100% participation. $52,000 was raised at this year’s event with proceeds going to scholarships for students at UC Blue Ash.
