Semester in Review at UC Clermont

Fall 2023 was one for the books at UC Clermont. Here were some of the highlights:

  • There were several events in the library with Edible Books, SpanishPalooza, and a Poetry Reading.
  • Three faculty were granted the Alternative Textbook Incentive Program opportunity, and one earned an OhioLINK Affordable Learning grant.
  • Our library became named as the Frederick A. Marcotte Library.
  • The Learning Commons joined our space on the second floor.
  • Cougar PAWS offered t-shirts to students who met with a librarian about their research.

With such exciting happenings, Spring semester will surely be just as great!

Clermont College Welcome

One of my favorite times each new school year is the first hour of the first day. As I sit at the welcome table in the Peters-Jones building at Clermont College I’m eager to greet the new and returning students. The energy I feel from their excitement regenerates me for the possibilities of the new semester.  And of course I’m happy to direct them to the Clermont College Library.good things

I just know good things are going to happen fall semester. Best wishes to all of Clermont’s students as they begin this new journey.

Fall Welcome

welcome

The library staff greeted new students during the Fall Welcome on Clermont’s Campus. We met many students eager to start the new semester. Our student assistant, Rachel, shared information about the library, specifically highlighting the help a student receives with research, resources, and textbooks on reserve. We’re excited to meet new students and help them with all their research needs.
