The UCBA Library will close at 5pm on Wednesday, November 23rd through Sunday, November 27th for the Thanksgiving Holiday. We will resume our regular Fall Semester hours Monday, November 28th and open at 7:30am. UC Libraries will be closed Thursday, November 24 and Friday, November 25 for Thanksgiving, with the exception of the Donald C. Harrison Health Sciences Library, which will be open Friday, November 25 noon – 5:00pm. Regular library hours will resume Saturday, November 26. This closing includes the Langsam Library 4th floor space, which will close Wednesday, November 23 at 6pm and re-open Saturday, November 26 at 10am.

The UCBA Library will be CLOSED SATURDAY, OCTOBER 8TH, in order to facilitate a necessary pipe repair in Muntz Hall. The water supply for Muntz Hall will need to be shut off this Saturday October 8. Due to Fire Code and Health & Safety Regulations no one will be permitted into the building. No other buildings on campus will be affected.

As the university’s main library, the Walter C. Langsam Library — and especially the busy fourth floor — is a destination of choice for University of Cincinnati students. Beginning Aug. 21, UC students, faculty and staff looking for a place to study for an exam, access a public computer or meet with a project team to finish an assignment now have access to the fourth floor of Langsam Library 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
No library staff or services requiring assistance will be available after The Desk@Langsam closes; however, security will be present thanks to UC’s Public Safety. A valid UC ID is required to enter the library after The Desk@Langsam closes. The UCBA Library will be closing one hour early on Friday, August 5th. The library will close at 3pm to allow IT to begin re-imaging the public computers for Fall Semester. The library will reopen at noon on Monday, August 8th.
