Presented by UC’s College-Conservatory of Music (CCM) and UC Libraries, the concert will include works by Wagner and Schoenberg.

Performers Alison Kaufman, Samantha Stinson, Jonathan Cooper, Samuel Chan, Cody Bowers, Michael Fuchs, and Matthew Peattie will perform “Selections from Mass of Barcelona,” “O ignee spiritus,” and “Selections from Laudario di Cortona” among others.
The Smallest Book in the World
Mark Palkovic, head of the Albino Gorno Memorial (CCM) Music Library, returned from the 31st Grand Conclave in Vancouver of the Miniature Book Society with a special souvenir — his own copy of the new world’s smallest book. Continue reading

Spring LIFE OF THE MIND Lecture Series Kicks Off April 10
UC Faculty Members to Consider the Theme of Identity.
The spring Life of the Mind lecture series will kick off Tuesday, April 10 from 3:30-5pm in the Russell C. Myers Alumni Center. Life of the Mind features interdisciplinary conversations with UC faculty around a one-word theme followed by audience Q&A. Each quarter, there are two Life of the Mind sessions with three “thought provocateurs” contributing to each session. The spring Life of the Mind theme is Identity.

The concert will be performed by Ensemble 1521 with the CCM Early Music Lab directed by CCM’s Matthew Peattie. Come early at 7:45 for a pre-concert talk by Sarah Bereza.
