Break hours begin Friday, April 29th through Sunday, May 8th. The library will be open Closed Saturdays and Sundays during that time and open Monday through Thursday from noon-5p and Friday from noon-4p. We will reopen Monday, May 9th under our Summer Semester hours, Monday through Thursday from 8a-6p and Friday from 8a-4p, and Closed Saturday and Sunday. Study 24/7 in Langsam Library during Exams
Cramming for an exam? Need a safe, quiet place to study?
Langsam Library space will be open 24/7 beginning noon on Sunday, April 17 through 11pm, Thursday, April 28. Regular hours will resume 8am on Thursday, April 28.
To enter the library after regular hours, students must do so via the 5th floor UCit@Langsam card-swipe entrance (a valid UC ID is required).
No library staff or services requiring assistance will be available during the extended hours (with the exception of UCit@Langsam); however, security will be present thanks to UC’s Public Safety.
FOOD FOR THOUGHT! UC Libraries and Food Services have partnered to provide coffee and snacks beginning at 10pm each night for students studying in Langsam.
As always, please be safe when leaving the library no matter what the hour.
UC offers NightRide to get students home safely. NightRide can be reached at 556-RIDE or speak to the Langsam Library Security Officer before you exit the building and they will contact NightRide.
The Woodside/Library Garage has Safe Zone Parking, which allows those that enter the garage after 8:00 p.m. and leave by 5:59 a.m. to exit for $1.
Langsam Library Closing at Noon on 3/23
Langsam Library, including the UCit@Langsam Lab on the 5th floor, will close at noon on Wednesday, March 23.
The UCit@Langsam Lab will reopen Wednesday at 4pm. Langsam Library will reopen Thursday, March 24 at 8am.
All other library locations will remain open as scheduled.

UC Libraries Closed for Martin Luther King Jr. Day
UC Libraries will be closed Monday, January 18 for Martin Luther King Jr. Day with the exception of the Health Sciences Library, which will be open 9am-5pm. The libraries will resume normal hours on Tuesday, January 19.

Libraries Closed during UC’s Winter Season Days
UC Libraries will be closed during UC’s Winter Season Days beginning December 24 through January 3. The Donald C. Harrison Health Sciences Library will reopen with access to individuals with proper UC ID badges December 28-31 from 12-4pm with limited services. All libraries will reopen and return to full service on Monday, January 4. A list of hours is available on the Libraries website.
The UCit@Langsam computer and study lab on the 5th floor of Langsam Library will also be closed.
The Langsam Library book drop will be available for books and videos only. (Please note – equipment must be returned in person when the library is open again on January 4).
