UCBA Library Break Hours

Beginning next week, the UCBA Library hours, services and support will be modified until spring semester begins on Monday, January 10th. Our website and signage will be updated this week to reflect the dates/hours below. Also, please read the important reminder about updating old library links before spring semester.

Winter Season Days, December 20 – January 2: Closed

Monday, December 13-Friday, December 17: Library Facility Closed; Virtual Support Only from 9a-4p.

  • Staff will be on site answering the main phone line and providing virtual support from 9a-4p. Note: Any faculty or staff who need assistance can stop by the library staff area during these days/hours of support. 

Monday, January 3 – Thursday, January 6: 12:00pm-5pm

Friday, January 7: 12:00pm-4pm

UC Libraries Closed Monday, Jan. 20 for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

UC Libraries will be closed Monday, Jan. 20 for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day with the exception of the Donald C. Harrison Health Sciences Library, which will be open 9am-5pm. The libraries will resume normal hours on Tuesday, Jan. 21.

This closing includes the 4th floor of the Walter C. Langsam Library, which will close at 11pm on Sunday, Jan. 19 and re-open at 7:45am on Tues, Jan. 21.

UC Libraries Closed for Winter Seasonal Days, Dec. 23-Jan. 1

happy holidaysThe faculty and staff of the University of Cincinnati Libraries bring you good tidings of the season and wish you a prosperous and joyful 2020! UC Libraries will be closed for Winter Seasonal Days, Dec. 23-Jan. 1, with the exception of the Donald C. Harrison Health Sciences Library, which will be open on a limited schedule. UC Libraries Closed Thanksgiving

thanksgiving graphicUC Libraries will be closed Thursday, November 28 and Friday, November 29 for Thanksgiving, with the exception of the Donald C. Harrison Health Sciences Library, which will be open Friday, November 29 from noon – 5:00pm. Regular library hours will resume Saturday, November 30.

This closing includes the Langsam Library 4th floor space, which will close Wednesday, November 27 at 11pm and re-open Saturday, November 30 at 10am.

Winter Break Hours

The UCBA College Library will have the following hours during winter break:

  • Saturday, December 15 – Sunday, January 6:  CLOSED
  • Monday, January 7 – Thursday, January 10:  12:00 pm – 5:00 pm
  • Friday, January 11:  12:00 pm – 4:00 pm

The Library will resume regular Spring Semester hours on Monday, January 14th at 7:30 am.
