UC Libraries to Close at 2pm on Monday, Feb. 15

Due to inclement weather, the University of Cincinnati will close from 2 p.m. until midnight on Monday, Feb. 15, 2021. This includes library locations. The Albino Gorno Memorial (CCM) Library will not open as scheduled at 1 p.m., but will remain closed.

UC Libraries remains available online to provide users with access to library resources and services.

UC Libraries will be closed Monday, Jan. 18 for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day . The libraries will resume normal hours on Tuesday, Jan. 19.

Spring Semester Hours and Services for UCBA Library

The UCBA Library space will be closed until in person classes begin on Monday, January 25, 2021; however, the following services and support will still be available Monday-Friday, 10am-3pm. 

  • Virtual SupportLive Chat and email for general library questions/requests and research support. 
  • Click and Collect: Books and media on hold will be available for pick-up on a cart outside the library entrance. 
  • Equipment Pick-Ups and Returns By Appointment: Contactless pick-ups and returns are available to UCBA students for laptops and calculators. Students should reach out to us via email to set-up an appointment. 

Beginning Monday, January 25th the library space will reopen from Monday-Friday, 10am-3pm. The remote services and support above will continue to be available in addition to in person services and support (e.g. equipment returns/pick-ups, Click and Collect) as well as study room reservations.

Check the Libraries website for any spring semester service updates and for operating hours by location. With limited exceptions, there remains no browsing of library materials in the stacks. The Click & Collect retrieval and pickup service allows UC users to request printed library materials in the Library Catalog for pickup at designated locations.  CHAT and email reference services are available to answer any question.

UC Libraries remains open and available online to provide users with access to library resources and services.

Clermont College Library Online Beginning November 16

Due to a desire to further reduce human density on the Clermont College campus, the Clermont College Library is switching its operations earlier than planned. Beginning now on Monday, November 16, Clermont College Library will be transitioning its support to online and changing its visiting hours to by appointment only.

UC Libraries closed Wednesday, Nov. 11 for Veterans Day. Health Sciences Library to remain open 9am-5pm.

veterans day imageUC Libraries will be closed Wednesday, Nov. 11 in observance of Veterans Day, except for the Donald C. Harrison Health Sciences Library, which will be open 9am to 5pm.

In addition, both the Click & Collect request and retrieval service and the CHAT online reference service will be unavailable Wednesday, Nov. 11.

Regular hours will resume Thursday, November 12.
